Kelly S. Wachs has been practicing immigration
law since 1993. Although she has a wide array of experience with all aspects of immigration law, her practice focuses
on employment-based immigration.
Ms. Wachs graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Boston in 1985 where she received
her BA in History with a minor in East Asian Studies. She worked as a Private Investigator from 1987 to 1990.
She attended the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento and graduated in 1993. Both during law
school and for the next two years she practiced immigration law with the firm of Kanter, Lehrman and Yun. In 1995, she
established the Law Office of Kelly Wachs in Santa Cruz, CA.
Ms. Wachs is a member
of the American Immigration Law Association and the American Immigration Law Foundation. She is also a member of the
Northern California Division of AILA and served as the AILA Liaison in Sacramento, California for two years.
